What’s In Your Candle?
What’s In Your Candle?
Beautiful Fragrance Starts With What Goes Into It
A candle may look beautiful and smell amazing, but have you ever stopped to think about what is actually in the candle you are burning in your home?
We have.
At Reese & Rose Candles, the ingredients we choose matter just as much as the fragrance we create. That's why we are intentional about our wax, our fragrance oils, and the way every candle is made.
We believe you should be able to enjoy fragrance in your home while also knowing that the maker behind it has put thought into what goes inside the jar.
Why Fragrance Matters
Not all fragrance oils are formulated to the same standards.
Reese & Rose uses CandleScience CleanScents fragrance oils exclusively, a program created with ingredient transparency and fragrance safety in mind.
CandleScience fragrance oils are formulated without phthalates and without ingredients on California's Proposition 65 list. Their CleanScents program goes further by evaluating fragrance ingredients against additional hazard categories and continuously updating classifications as new research becomes available.
That matters to us because fragrance is not an afterthought. It is one of the most important ingredients in every candle we make.
Why Coconut Wax?
We chose luxurious coconut wax for its smooth, creamy appearance and beautiful fragrance performance.
It gives Reese & Rose candles the elevated finish we love while providing the foundation for fragrances that fill your space beautifully.
No shortcuts. No choosing ingredients simply because they are less expensive.
Just thoughtful choices made with the candle and the home it will eventually live in in mind.
Small Batch. Hand Poured. Thoughtfully Made.
Every Reese & Rose candle is hand poured in small batches.
That means we are involved in the process from beginning to end, from selecting the fragrance and preparing the wax to pouring, finishing, and packaging each candle.
We are not trying to make the most candles.
We are trying to make candles we would feel good about bringing into our own homes.
A Little More Transparency
The word clean gets used a lot.
For us, it isn't about making dramatic claims or trying to scare you about other candles.
It's about asking questions, learning about the ingredients available to us, choosing our materials intentionally, and being transparent about those choices with you.
Because we think you deserve to know a little more about what you're bringing into your home.
We simply believe in making candles with thoughtful ingredients, beautiful fragrance, and care in every step.
